I developed an interest in Counselling and chose to study the ‘Counselling Concepts, Level 2’ as an introduction to see if I was suited to this type of career.  I really enjoyed it so decided to progress onto level 3 and then level 4.

After enjoying the Counselling Concepts, I have since completed the Level 3 certificate and Level 4 Diploma which has meant that I am now a qualified counsellor.

My tutor, Kay, was enthusiastic and passionate and I found this highly motivating. She encourages her students to think as counsellors and develop the necessary self-awareness.  I gained a number of transferable skills, the knowledge of basic counselling skills and how to apply them, also gaining a knowledge of the theoretical, spiritual, moral, ethical, social, cultural and other issues in relation to counselling.
